THE FOUR IMMIGRANTS MANGA: EXCERPTS
The selections below from The Four Immigrants Manga, show the lads' arrival in the U.S., a classic bath gag, and a depiction of how the Big Quake of '06 must have felt. The entire work consists of 52 episodes of 12 panels each, tracing the arrival of Henry and his pals in 1904 and continuing through the main events of the next two decades until Henry's return to Japan in 1924.
