Dead Love Book Trailer Contest Rules

By submitting a video to the Dead Love Book Trailer Contest, you agree to the rules and regulations on this page, in addition to those outlined in the contest announcement.

This video submission contest is administered by Stone Bridge Press, Inc.

Videos must be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes long.

Videos must include mention of the name of the novel (Dead Love),
the author (Linda Watanabe McFerrin), the publisher (Stone Bridge
Press), and the pub date (September 2010).

The video with the most votes by 12am on
Monday, September 13th, will be determined the winner.

The winner will receive $100, a Dead Love t-shirt, signed by the author, and a copy of the limited hardcover edition of the book, also signed by the author.

Stone Bridge Press, Inc. will contact the winner at its own discretion.

You may submit up to 3 videos.

Further rules:

Videos that in the sole discretion of the contest sponsor are offensive,
    pornographic, libelous, degrading, infringing, or otherwise
    unsuitable will be disqualified from the contest.

Videos that are sexually explicit or violent may be tagged with content
    advisory labels.

Videos must be original and must not duplicate other videos except for the
    purpose of parody. They must not include any copyrighted material
    such as music clips, images, or video clips unless you own or have
    obtained rights to said material. You may be asked to submit proof
    of written authorization to use copyrighted material.

You must have the written consent, release, and/or permission of every
    identifiable individual who appears in the video. If any such
    identifiable individual is under the age of 18, you must have
    obtained such written consent, release, and/or permission from such
    individuals parent or guardian.

The contest sponsor reserves the right to disqualify you from the
    contest if it it is unable to verify or determines at any time, in
    its sole discretion, that all necessary rights, clearances,
    consents, releases, and/or permissions have not been obtained by
    you.

By submitting a video for consideration in the contest, you agree to
    grant the contest sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable,
    unlimited, transferable, assignable, sublicensable, royalty-free
    right and license to reproduce, publish, perform on the Sponsors
    website(s), on any other website(s), in print, radio, television or
    elsewhere), display, distribute, modify, edit, create derivative
    works of, translate, adapt, rebroadcast, and otherwise use and
    commercialize the video in any manner and context, in any way, in
    any and all media, without without any compensation or
    acknowledgment to you or any third party.

You grant permission to the sponsor to use your name and/or company name
    and city/ state of residence in connection with any use of the Video
    in any and all media.

By entering the contest, you release and hold Stone Bridge Press, Inc.,
    and Linda Watanabe McFerrin and their respective employees,
    affiliates, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims,
    demands, actions, losses, costs, damages, liabilities, judgments,
    settlements and expenses (including without limitation reasonable
    attorneys fees) arising in whole or in part, directly or
    indirectly, from: (a) your participation in the contest or any
    contest-related activity; (b) any breach by you of any covenant,
    representation or warranty set forth in this official rules and
    submission agreement; (c) any claim based on publicity rights,
    defamation, and/or invasion of privacy; or (d) any claim that your
    video or the use thereof by any contest entity infringes upon or
    violates the intellectual property rights or other rights of any
    third party or caused any damage to a third party.
