Two days ago The Japan Times ran Stephen Mansfield's touching tribute to the brilliant Donald Richie and his 60 years living in, loving and writing about Japan. Through the years we've published many of his books, most of which are mentioned in this article—with the most recent being a reprint of the infamous The Inland Sea.
